I Quit My Full time Job
I quit...
My full-time job, that is. Yep - Diamant is officially no longer a side gig.
There’s no more main corporate role. There’s just Diamant and boot bags.
So many boot bags.
So many samples.
After over 2.5 years of explaining that I worked in consulting and ran a ski and snowboard company, I finally decided it was time to take the leap.
So, why now (In the middle of a tariff crisis, no less?)
1. The workload
Diamant has long outgrown being something I do between 7pm and 11pm. We’ve got partners. Multiple products in development. We’re (trying to be) more active on social. And we’re aggressively pushing to grow.
Even in the offseason, my Diamant hours far exceeded what was realistic alongside a full-blown consulting job. Something had to give.
2. The timing
I’m 25. I’ll never be younger, and I plan on having kids. So when I zoomed out, this felt like the least risky moment I might ever have.
If not now… when?
Fortune favors the bold…right?
3. The aspirations
And here’s the real reason.
When I started Diamant, the goal was just to learn something. I didn’t know if I’d ever actually make a product - let alone sell one. I certainly didn’t think we’d sell out. Multiple times.
But we did. And somewhere along the way, it stopped being a learning exercise and became a real company.
And I want to grow it. Like, really grow it.
Not just into a successful e-commerce brand, but into something that changes the way people travel. Something that redefines what gear means for skiers, snowboarders, and adventurers alike.
With that kind of ambition…you have to lock in.
So… what now?
First off, you're going to be hearing from me a lot more. But I promise it'll be worth it.
We’ve got some unreal partnerships in the works. A ton of events in the pipeline. We’re even adding hang tags that link to instructional guides so you get the most out of your bag all season long.
And - most importantly - we’re deep into expanding the product line. Yes, that ski bag is coming. Plus a lot more.

We may even need to hire soon. Brand managers - I’m looking at you.
It’s an exciting - and terrifying - time.
And none of it would’ve happened without all of you. Yes, even those of you who open the emails and immediately delete them. You're included in this thank you too.
I have no idea what happens next.
But then again, I never have.
